What are the New Testament Scriptures?

The New Testament is an anthology of Christian works regarding the teachings of Jesus Christ, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, the works of Jesus's apostles, the epistles of the apostles, and apocalyptic writings. The New Testament Scriptures are frequently quoted as the source for Christian thoughts concerning love, peace, forgiveness, and reconciliation and the progression of humankind toward a more harmonious way of life by honoring the natural and spiritual laws of God.

A tenet of the Christian faith is that Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming Messiah. The Rosary for World Peace libretto reflects this philosophy by having the New Testament Scripture follow the pre-figurative and preceding Old Testament Scripture throughout the work.

Thou art My Son,
This Day have I begotten Thee.
Ask of Me,
and I will give Thee the Gentiles

and the Utmost Parts of the Earth
for Thy Possession.
