Dramatic Summary

A neo-inspiration of the popular medieval mystery play genre, The Rosary for World Peace is set within the traditional Rosary prayer format. In this engaging version, the personalities of the New Testament sing Old Testament Scripture mini-dramas, prefiguring each of the New Testament Rosary mysteries.
As the drama progresses, a host of biblical characters emerge, including God the Father; His Son, Jesus; and the Holy Spirit; as well as Mary; Joseph; the Apostles; Pilate; and the Archangels, among others.
Throughout, a chorus of heavenly angels supports Jesus, as He engages Satan and the rebellious angels: Satan is moved from trepidation at Jesus' birth, to a humble young maid, to murderous rage, when God affirms Jesus'universal kingship.
Undaunted, Jesus teaches the people the Way of Peace and manifests His power. The people respond with increasing support— and opposition.
His message and miraculous works also challenge the earthly potentates, and some devise a plot to kill Him: Jesus is captured and crucified. Ultimately, however, Jesus triumphs, as sovereign king of heaven and earth.
