Written primarily in English, The Rosary for World Peace libretto sets over 1800 Scripture verses in mini-dramas and narratives. Throughout, prophetic Old Testament Scripture verses prefigure the New Testament revelations of Jesus Christ.

Recurring traditional prayers in Latin establish a rhythmic substructure that provides reflective moments of meditation. In addition, twenty representative world languages are interspersed, as brief introductions to the Ave Maria prayers, giving the entire work a global resonance in this poetic communion with the people of the world.

Read privately, The Rosary for World Peace libretto serves as a meditation for world peace: for as we learn and live in the Way of God, the barrier between Heaven and Earth gives way to a continuous, seamless exchange of love, compassion, forgiveness—and peace.

Theological Review: The Rosary for World Peace libretto has been granted an Imprimatur by the Archdiocese of Chicago and has also been favorably reviewed by several leading theologians and Vatican representatives.

The Crucifixion of Jesus

Aria—Holy Spirit

I will Make It as
the Mourning of an Only Son.
(Amos 8:10)
The Sun shall Go Down at Midday,
I will Make the Earth Dark
in the Day of Light.
(Amos 8:9)
I will Turn your Feasts into Mourning,
and All your Songs into Lamentation.
(Amos 8:10)
I will Make It as
the Mourning of an Only Son.
