The Rosary For World Peace
The Rosary for World Peace catapults the medieval mystery play genre into the twenty-first century.
Based on the template of the Rosary prayer format, the four acts of The Rosary for World Peace are themed according to the four major Mysteries of the Rosary: The Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries.
In this epic version, the personalities of the New Testament (e.g. Jesus, Mary, Nicodemus, Pilate) sing prophetic Old Testament Scripture mini-dramas, prefiguring each of the following New Testament Rosary mysteries, as the Angels of God and the Rebellious Angels sing in escalating choruses. As the drama progresses, Jesus's Way of Peace unfolds in the face of mounting opposition. Ultimately, He conquers to reign as the King of Heaven and Earth.
Four orchestral, theatrical productions are envisioned:
- Act I: The Joyful Mysteries
- Act II: The Luminous Mysteries
- Act III: The Sorrowful Mysteries
- Act IV: The Glorious Mysteries
Over 1800 Scripture verses set the mini-dramas and narratives. In addition, 20 representative languages of the world are integrated throughout the work, in this poetic communion with the people of the world.

Strengthen me,
O Lord God,
at This Hour.
(Jdt 13:9)
I beseech Thee,
O Lord God,

What Thou hast designed
hath been done.

Strengthen the Resolution
In my Heart,
(Jdt 9:18)

For Thou shewest Thy Power,
when Men will not believe Thee
to be Absolute in Power;
Thou convincest
the Boldness of them
that know Thee not.

O Lord God,
at This Hour.
